It's already been a month?
Wow, well I guess it is time for my monthly update. Well Thanksgiving came and went, and of course all the food went right to my waist and butt! We attempted the black friday shopping. That was a pleasant experience that ended with the police showing up. (NO we didn't steal anything!) Gerald went with me.......need I say any more? Evan turned 3! He was not very excited about it, he did not want to be three, because he does not like that number, 2 is his favorite number so he wanted to stay 2! After a few months of talking about it , he came to terms with the idea, and now LOVES the number 3! (We are so glad!) He got every truck-trailer-tractor imaginable, so I think he is set for awhile. We took the kids to the Polar Express in Williams. That was fun, I think Lilly is getting a little too old for it , but the little kids loved it. Poor Halee tried so hard to stay awake for the whole thing, but she just couldn't hang with the rest of us, and crashed out! Then we went to the deer farm and the kids got to feed the deer, they also had reindeer, but they were the homeliest looking things, they looked like they were going to die at any given moment! Evan cussed out a few deer that ate the food out of his hand that he intended for another deer, he then chucked his food cup and stomped off! (I don't know what i'm gonna do with that kid!) We have got him to stop cussing (in English anyways, now he only cusses in Spanish!) But we are working on it. Everything else is good, if we can just get through one more week of school, 3 more x-mas programs, 3 more x-mas parties, and one field trip, than we are in the clear for Christmas!

Monthly update!
Okay, so I have decided that if blogging was a job, I would have been soooo fired. Anyways, lets update you all with what has happened to the Perkins family in the past month. First of all Halee had her birthday and turned 6! Gerald got his cast off, ( he sort of took measured into his own hands). Evan is officially potty trained, so I will enjoy two months of no diapers, till the baby comes, and oh by the way it is a BOY! I'm stilll mad that we found out, but oh well, Gerald couldn't stand it any longer. I feel like we already opened our Christmas present! And yes I am getting HUGE! If one more person askes me if I am due any day I am going to hurt someone. I don't think people should even be allowed to make comments to prego women, nothing they say makes you feel good about yourself. Examples: Your gonna have 5 kids? Why, would you do that to yourself? Your stomache can't possibly stretch anymore! Do you always get this big? Wow, you get bigger everytime I see you! You sure did pop out! Are you sure your not having twins? Oh and my favorite, this one came from my sweet Crew, remember the one that is so concerned about my weight gain? "What are those blue lines behind your knees? They are disgusting!" So as you can see I am at that point in my pregnancy when I want people to just focus on something besides my belly! Anyways, Halloween was fun, and the girls and I went down to Tempe for the Breast Cancer walk. That was fun. Even though we walked 5 miles, and I felt like I was going to go into labor, and at the end of the walk a lady asked me if she could take my picture to put on her advertisement that "Everybody can do it!" What's that supposed to mean?

I Cant Wait Until Im 8!
I cant believe I forgot to mention that Crew got baptised last month. He was so excited, he had to be dunked 3 times because his foot kept coming up.
Oh Man!
Okay so Gerald went down to the valley for a wresting submission tournament and comes home with a broken wrist. Hasn't this happened a million times before, you ask? The answer is only about 4 or 5 times, but it seems like he is always broken somewhere. So life at the Perkins house has not been very pleasant. He is sooooo grouchy, because first of all he can't train or work out, and he cant even tie his own shoes or put on his own belt. And i'm getting LARGER every day and not feeling so great, and now he really can't help much around the house, so you can say im not very sympathetic. So things should start getting better in about 6 weeks, when he gets the cast off! Since my last post, we haven't done too much, we did go on the Longhurst annual campout, that was fun, besides the fact that I had this great idea to hike MT Baldy and campout over night with what we could take in our pack. Gerald, Lilly, Crew, and I went, and Grandma Perkins watched the other two kids. The hike was great, but the sleep....not so much! We just about froze to death! We ended up curled around the fire in the dirt with sparks burning holes through our clothes, and cinging our hair! But we were sooooo cold that we didn't care if we caught on fire! Maybe next time I wont be pregnant and we will pack more bedding. Here are a few pictures of the excitement!

Sometimes kids are just too honest!
OK, so im sure this has happened to you, your kids tell you things that they are really thinking, before thinking it through! First let me go back a few months. When I told the kids that I was pregnant again, they were all excited, but Crew sort of sat there with that look on his face like he just figured something out, then he says, "OH, so that is why you have been exercising so much and not losing any pounds?" Well yesterday we were driving home and Crew asks, "Mom, how much do you weigh?" And I tell him, "It's rude to ask adults how much they weigh." So later on that night, I am laying on the couch with my shirt pulled up so that my stomache was exposed, and Crew is just staring at me, and he says, "Are those pants too tight? What size are they anyway?" So I ask, "Why all the questions, are you worried about me getting fat or something?" And Crew says, "No i'm just wondering how much MORE you weigh than Dad now?"Wow! "Actually, Crew Dad weighs ALOT more than I do!" "Even since you have been pregnant?" He asks. I can see in his face that he does not believe me. Then he walks off and turns to Halee and says, "Can you believe that Dad weighs more than Mom? Cause I dont!"
That same boy also took it upon him self to tell Evan that babies come out of butts! So Evan tells everyone, "I came out of Mom's butt, Mom's BIG butt!" And to top it all off, Halee was talking to me about armpit hair and why Dad's is sooo long. Then she asks, "When I grow up am I going to have little spices like you? And I said what are you talking about? And she says, You know those little peppers under your arms, am i going to have some?" So I guess what my children are trying to tell me is that I am eating MORE than enough, and not shaving QUITE enough! So thanks kids for the honesty!

Yes, the Perkins are still alive!
Wow, it has only been 6 months since my last post! That's not too bad is it? At least it is fall again and I dont even have to change my background! Anyways, I do have good reasons for why I haven't blogged besides the fact that I just didn't want to! We have been busy! I will fill you in on what has happened for the last six months. We had dance recitals of course, Crew played baseball, Halee played T-ball, Lilly did volleyball camp, I was called to be a cub scout leader, and to top it all off I got knocked-up AGAIN! And YES we do know what causes and prevents it! YES this will be number 5, and NO, we are not trying to have as many kids as our parents did! I am due in January and I have been very sick, so I figured it was more important to do a load of laundry with what little energy I had, than to blog. Now school is back is session and Lilly is in Junior High! WOW I know! Crew is in 2nd grade and little Halee is in kindergarten half day. So it is just me and Evan for 2 and 1/2 hours a day. Dance starts again this week and Crew is playing football, so we are back to being as busy as ever. We didn't get to vacation as much this summer as we would like to have, but we did go to the lake and Mexico. Here are a few pictures from the past six months.
